This Privacy Policy was created by brixNflix ™ an internet website, owned and operated by Front Door Productions, LLC (referred to as “brixNflix”,”us”, “we”and “our”) to demonstrate our policy with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to usage of the brixnflix.com site by both consumers and real estate professionals including without limitation, REALTORS®, builders of homes, mortgage brokers, lenders, developers, architects, and home service professionals, all of whom are referred to, individually and collectively, as “you” and “sellers”.
This Site was designed for your use specific to the real estate industry and related markets to provide information, resources, software tools, products and a variety of online services, as well as information about us, our advertisers and our respective products and services. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the brixNflix™ Terms of Use.
Information you give us
Any personal user information we collect is considered private and we do not use it or share it without the user’s permission except as permitted on this site. It is possible to browse most sections of the site without submitting any personally identifiable information.
User Registration: Information collected from you will vary depending on how you use our site and what information you choose to provide, including but not limited to, your full name, a user name and password, email address, phone number, physical address, property information, and for certain e-commerce transactions, your credit card information. When you take advantage of our services or products, or access certain tools, real estate professionals may be asked to provide a license number or MLS ID# to be able to take full advantage of our unique features. If you choose to give us limited information, you may not be able to take full advantage of the brixNflix ™ website.
Cookies: BrixNflix may track the IP address or place a “cookie” in the browser files of a user’s computer. This is a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters that uniquely identify your browser. It is required to provide automated brixNflix™ features.
Site visits: Additionally, brixNflix™ collects general information about visits to our website and stores this information in log files. This information is stored in anonymous profiles and is not associated with a user's account. This information includes the number of total visits to our website, and which browser is used to view our website (including the version number). No Personal Information is contained in this data. brixNflix ™ uses this information to understand traffic and downloads on our website, enabling us to improve the site, provide the best online experience possible and improve our ability to serve our customers.
Disclosing your information:
We use the information you submit to us to provide the information, product or service you’ve requested. We may share this information with others, but only to the extent necessary to fulfill your request. And, any other companies or individuals who perform on our behalf, support functions for the products and services offered at our site, or who contribute to the functionality of our site are not permitted to use the information collected from you for any other purpose other than performing the support function for brixNflix™.
Third party sharing: Your personal information may be shared with or individually gathered by a third party when we offer products and services to you, jointly with that third party. brixNflix™ will only use your personal information as outlined in this Privacy Statement; however the third party may use it in different ways. In these “co-branded” situations, you will see a company’s logo with our own or you will be linked to their site. Be aware that each company has its own policy regarding the usage of your personal information and could differ from those outlined in our Privacy Statement.
Emails: You may not use “email” a video property, “contact” a seller, or use any other email service we offer, to send spam (unsolicited email) or otherwise send content that violates the brixNflix ™ Terms and Conditions. If you forward a property video from our site via email to an email address that is not registered in our system, we do not use that address for anything other than to send your email, as well as an automatic invitation to visit our site so that we can track the success and validity of a referral program. No email addresses are collected for the purpose of rent or sale.
Legal: If we believe an act of releasing personal information is necessary and appropriate, we will release it to: (1) comply with any legal process, (2) identify, contact or bring legal action against any entity/person who we believe will cause injury to us or a third party, (3) protect the rights, property or personal safety of brixNflix ™, its employees, Site users or others and (4) enforce the Terms of Use agreement for the brixNflix ™ site.
Business Transfers: Site and personal user information may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, or sale of company assets.
Videos: Any video content that you disclose online, along with your public profile page (audio podcast and philosophy) become available to the public and throughout the Internet, and can be collected and used by others. Your name and email are displayed to other users when you confirm your video purchase and/or upload your video. We may redistribute brixNflix ™ videos at some point to other media channels.
Changing Your Information: You may update, correct or change your personally identifiable information on the brixNflix™ site. Login to the “My Account” page and choose “edit my account profile”. To update a property video or its details, return to the “My Account” page, or the navigation bar, and choose “Manage My Properties”. Change the price, or indicate “closed” or “contract pending”, or edit your property and add more photos. Please note: media files uploaded or created by brixNflix, created on the brixNflix site, or uploaded to the site will not be removed until the end of the 3-month advertising cycle.
We utilize email as a vital communication aspect with our user/sellers. Once registered, you grant us permission to communicate with you for any purpose we deem relevant, including but not limited to Site announcements, special offers, new features, and marketing opportunities. You may choose to opt out of marketing messages, and we will use our best efforts to honor your request, but brixNflix ™ will have no liability whatsoever for sending emails to registered user/customers, and your use of the brixNflix website constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
Protecting your information: All users’ personal information is password-protected and kept on servers protected by a firewall. In addition, to keep sensitive financial information secure, we ask for and transmit this information electronically only over secure connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption—the current standard for online security. Additionally, all financial information is stored on secure designated servers solely accessed by individuals and departments whose responsibility is to use the information to process orders for products or services purchased. While we follow accepted industry standards to protect personal information submitted to us, no method of transmission or storage is guaranteed absolutely.
Scope of Our Policy: Be aware that although we provide links to third party websites as a service to our users, we are not responsible for those sites’ information collection or content. We are not able to control the privacy and data collection for other sites and their privacy policy may not match our policy.
